Xl Nutrition – Strawberry & Vanilla - Protein Waffles

Another instalment at John’s bakery!

This time we have some glorious protein waffles, kind of like pancakes, but with abs!

Looking for a way to increase your daily intake of protein? Have an incredible sweet tooth that seems to be disrupting your dieting progress? Then look no further than these delicious and nutritious, muscle building protein waffles!

Get your waffle iron at the ready, because it’s time for those waffle gains!

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients

  • 1 Scoop Whey Protein – XL Nutrition XTRA Whey Vanilla works very well here
  • 2 Free Range Eggs
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
  • 1tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 50g Oats
  • 150g Greek Yoghurt (I use Skyr, as they do a vanilla flavour and it tastes amazing!)
  • 2tbsp Stevia Sweetener
  • 30ml Almond Milk

Toppings

  • 2 Strawberries
  • Walden Farms Zero Calorie Strawberry Syrup

Directions

There are a couple of ways you could mix the ingredients, either simply mix all the raw ingredients into a bowl, or you could blend them until a batter in a blender.

I prefer mixing them by hand, as I like the slightly lumpy consistency in my waffles.

Once mixed, simply use a 1 calorie spray to grease your hot waffle iron, then leave to cook for 2mins.

Add the toppings of your choice and enjoy!
