The PhD Creatine is a simple but effective creatine monohydrate product. The PhD Creatine is very high quality micronized creatine and is therefore going to be very effective in relation to all creatine products. HI malcolm Creatine transporters may need 36-48 hours to re-prime. Every other day is fine for monohydrate use. Ideally use post workout with simnple carbs. A high dextrose fruit juice would suffice, or Battery+/-3, also by same company PhD Nutrition. Pre workout water would be fine.

What flavour is the phd creatine?

This product is un-flavoured. We recommend you adding it to your favourite cordial drink or protein shake.

I currently weigh 118kg so i should start on 7 days of 10g. it then states 10g every second day.. but i worry i will forrget so can i do 5g per day. what effect will this have?

Hi, I'm currently taking PhD Synergy, Phd Methoxy-7-Test, PhD Wired (pre workout), PhD Battery (during and post workout) and PhD Lean Degree. Would it be wise to use this as well as the above products as I know there is already some creatine in some of these... I am also looking at taking HMB and Catalyst, would it be worth doing this as well? I'm not too sure what goes well together or if there are any you shouldn't really mix. I'm trying to gain muscle and cut up. Currently 78kg with 13% body fat. (19 years old). Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

The first creatine powder I used recommended dissolving it in hot water, so I've got in the habit of taking my creatine in a herbal tea. The PHD creatine usage guide recommends ice cold water. Will I diminish the effects taking it in herbal tea?

Hi philip, you need a source of protein, the shakes should be ok for you unless you are lactose intollerant, try using an egg protein if this is the case. Creatine can help help you with endurance and performance but without protein in the diet the muscles wont recover and grow as fast as they could.

I have taken phd synergy for 2 months, and now i have been on reflex whey the past 3 weeks, so i've been off creatine for 3 weeks im just under 75kg, i train 5 days a week mon-fri do i have to go through loading phase again? How much creatine should i consume given the above? Thanks!

hi nathan. there is no solid evidence anywhere to support the optimal amount of creatine to be taken or whether loading phases are 100% necessary. 20g for loading phase then 5g per day after will be perfectly fine even for someone of your weight. if you want to take more then you can. it will not be unsafe. Dear Michael, Take one synergy about 60 mins before training, with 5g creatine. Then take your recovery with a further 5g creatine. If needed you could take another synergy mid morning to get the required daily protein needs. Dave

Does phd creatine helps in gaining weight??

Hi, Creatine supplements basically increase your ATP stores as the creatine phosphate systems can be replenished more effectivley. As a result of this you can train harder for longer, in turn you may gain lean mass which would increase your weight. I have just purchased some creatine from you and have been doing some research on how much to take and when etc, it recommends taking 10g every other day after loading or 5g every day, however i already use synergy and if i have 2 servings a day (4 scoops) that would already contain 5.2g of creatine so is there no need to add more creatine into my diet? Hey there Matt, Synergy already has creatine added to it so there is no reason to have it when taking synergy, however you could take it outside of the time when you do not have the synergy, ideally with juice/ fruit. In terms of the second part of the question, it's tough to answer it here as it's a detailed answer, however provided your calories are not excessive you can remain defined, using these products will help your repair and grow essentially...a "clean" diet is the key - most of the time at least.
