Why buy CNP Pro-Recover - 1289 Grams (16 Servings)?
Monster View - CNP Pro-Recover

CNP Pro Recover contains a perfect blend of fast acting carbohydrates and fast acting protein along with high amounts of BCAA's to make sure recovering is easy and effective.
I have used this product on many occasions and i found the taste and mixability to be superb, there were no lumps when shaken and it went down very easily, leaving no bloat or bad after taste. This is in my eyes one of the best post workout products on the market!

Overall i give it 5/5stars

Post-workout adaptogenic/recovery formula

Scientific research shows us that the period immediately following training may be the most important time for potentiating the results. This is the key time to intercept the result-limiting anticatabolic processes initiated by your intense workouts. Yet, through inconvenience or habit, many bodybuilders fail to take advantage of this critical window of opportunity.

Post-workout nutrition is all about precision; too much protein and you will induce metabolic acidosis, thereby blunting any anabolic response and elevating catabolic hormones. If too "complex" a source of protein is used, synthesis will not be fast enough to make the difference.

Pro Recover is the long-awaited response to this situation. Specific amounts of high glycemic carbohydrates create the necessary insulin spike to deal with the catabolic hormone, cortisol. Easily absorbed di and tripeptide amino acids combine to maximize the anabolic drive process, rapidly restoring positive nitrogen balance. High concentrations of Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) replenish a depleted amino acid pool and delay fatigue between regular bouts of exertion, making this also the ideal product for the competition environment (e.g. track and field, powerlifting, strongman, etc). Antioxidants act to limit the muscle damage induced by post-workout free radicals. Finally, the adaptogenic herbs Rhodiola rosea and Ginkgo biloba are included, commonly employed by soviet coaches to lower the systemic stress of high training workloads in Olympic athletes.

“ Great product helps aid recovery particuly well after a rugby game. I find if i do all the other appropiate warming down measures the affects are alot better. If only the shake is taken the affects will be minimal. ”

Ask a Question
Can you take pro peptide and pro recover with milk, if so does it still have the same effectivness as mixed with water?
you can take iwth both water and milk, these are both effective. All the best Andy Robinson www.monstersupplements.com

how long do u need to eat after taking pro recover, and is the amount of protein and carbs, available in pro recover, enouth after a hard session?
Hi Hafeez, Thank you for your question; Yes the bofins at CNP have made this the perfect post workout juice! I suggest you eating 1 hour after the shake Regards, Mark www.monstersupplements.com

Can I add Glutamine to my PWO shake with this?
Hi JT Thank you for your question. Yes l-glutamine would be great to stack with this. Kind regards Danny

Hi, was just wondering if you sold this in bigger sizes? 1.2kg is a bit small
Hi Joe Sorry but it only comes in one size. Kind regards Danny

Should i take this product along with pro max extreme and if what is the best way to do this
Hi Mike No need to take both. Best time to take it is 10mins after your training. Kind regards danny

Would this product work well with pro peptide, which i already use, or should i use one or the other? cheers
Hi Rick What you looking at going? KInd regards Danny

Is this product or maximuscle recovermax better as a post workout shake for building muscle?
Hi James I would go with the pro recover any day. Kind regards Danny

Hi there! I am currently leaning - would this product hinder my fat loss? If so would I be better taking a pure whey protein post workout? Thanks
Hi, I have always just used a protein after training when dieting, i would go for that and just add some glutamine and creatine to kickstart the recovery process, if you dont need to get really lean then just use carbs post workout and a few before. thank you

Hi, Just wondering, this product is under the wieght gainers catagory, but as I understand it is not the same as most wieght gainers, i.e. CNP contains fast acting carbs while most others contain slow acting carbs. Is there a difference between the two types. Also isn't insulin spiking bad for your health? I think I have heard. Thanks
you are correct, fast acting carbs are needed in the pro-recover to quickly replenish glycogen and create the insulin spike. an insulin spike is not bad for you and happens regularly throughout the day. it is useful post-trinaing as insulin helps shuttle nutrients into the muscle. -AC-

Hi Is this product vegetarian friendly? I train late and only take protein shake post training and then hit the sack. I notice this product is high carb, is that gonna cause a problem going bed straight away, such as putting on fat?
you may put on fat if taking a high amount of carbs before bed. i recommend a pure whey shake after your trianing. phd pharma whey is a good option and fine for vegetarians. -AC-

I enquired about a post workout shake, and you recomended PHD recovery and 2:1 and CNP pro recover - would either of these shakes be enough to take on there own? As in the only supplement I would be taking would be these post workout shapes, will this help my achieve my goal of increasing muscle size or would I need to be taking protein shakes throughout the day, or is the post workout shake 3-4 times a week to put on muscle?
i have used the phd recovery 2:1 at many times throughout the day before to put on weight and it works very well. the only trouble is that you risk adding fat due to the fast acting carb content. -AC-

Hi does this have added branch chain amino acids and will it add fat If I only have this postworkout and do you do the ready made pro recover
hi jordan, there are BCAA's present in the pro-recover. you will only add fat if you intake too many calories. Best regards -AC-

How would you rate CNP Pro recover, Reflex Instant Whey Deluxe and Optimum Nutrition HydroWhey? I highly dislike Pharma Whey Proteins.
Dear Brian, If your planning on using these 3 alltogether then it could be a good stack. If you meen individually then Pro recover is a good post workout drink with a good protein/carb ratio. Hydrowhey is a very good quality protein, better then just whey concentrate so i would opt for the ON hydrowhey. Dave

Is this okay for someone with crones disease to use ?
Dear Kane, This product should be okay for someone with crones disease, however i would seek medical advice before buying as i am unaware of what triggers the disease or what effects it. Dave

Overall do you think this is the best recovery shake? I am rugby training at least once a day and need something to take in between sessions. If not, could you recommend one?
Dear Josh, The Pro Recover is a good qaulity recovery shake, however in my opinion thr Recovery 2:1 by PhD is better as it worked best for me. Dave
