Forslean is the only version of Coleus Forskohlii that is patented, verified for its potency and tested for both safety and toxicity. Perhaps of more importance is that Forslean is the only form Coleus Forskohlii that has been extensively studied and independently tested in clinical trials.
Forslean is an effective fat loss product because of the active ingredient Forskolin. This active compound is valued for its ability to to activate an enzyme in the body called Adenylate Cyclase. Adenylate Cyclase is the main enzyme involved in the production of a significant metabolic process called cyclic adenosine monophosphate, or cAMP for short. cAMP is indispensable to many bodily functions - triggering metabolic processes and thermogenesis (the body's main fat burning mechanism).
To date there are two studies using ForsLean. These studies have evaluated the effects on body-mass composition of slightly overweight but healthy individuals and revealed promising results. ForsLean was orally administered to overweight female volunteers for a period of 8 weeks. Participants were asked to take one capsule in the morning and one in the evening half an hour before a meal. The results showed that after supplementing with ForsLean weight loss was significant after 4 and 8 weeks, the average weight loss was 4.3lbs and 9.2lbs respectively. Importantly no adverse health affects were seen, with no increase in blood pressure or pulse rate
