    “ The first thing you should know is that this is Creapure creatine monohydrate, which is the best sort. There is no problem with the quality, and it's an excellent price for what it is. You need to know how to use creatine to get the best out of it - most people just mix it into their post-workout shake or some other drink, not realizing most of the powder sinks to the bottom. If the creatine isn't dissolved, it won't taken up into your blood. If it enters your body in suspension, i.e. floating around in the drink, very little will be absorbed and you will experience the "bloating" said to accompany creatine use. Powders dissolve more easily in hot water, so dissolve this in your tea/coffee. You could even mix it into hot water, then leave the water in the fridge to drink later - this creatine is good enough quality that it stays in solution for a long time. Unlike some supplements, Reflex's blurb on the effects of creatine is accurate and supported by research. It will make you gain 6-9 lbs of water weight, which is stored in your muscles and makes them look bigger and fuller. It will also improve your performance in some ways (though not necessarily maximum strength). Some people will tell you to load, maintain and cycle off creatine. Studies generally show this is unnecessary, and simply taking a flat maintenance dose permanently is just as good (if not better). Bear in mind creatine takes about 28 days to reach tissue saturation, and 28 days to wash out, so you waste a lot of time on creatine if you cycle it. In the same vein, don't be quick to judge its effects. I've used Reflex's brand of creatine for a long time, and, in accordance with actually using it properly (in solution), have never experienced any side effects. It does everything it says on the tub, and I urge you to buy it. £16 (as of 23/12/11) for 500 g, which for most people is 100 days' worth, is fantastic value for the best creatine money can buy. ”

Larger, albeit softer, muscles, being able to push out those last 2 reps of a heavy set and some decent strength gains are the main benefits. I did a loading and maintenance phase as the tub instructs and I intend to cycle the 500g tub with a 4 week cutting phase. Price-wise this was very competitive.     Hello Dave You can take your creatine with your whey, thats not a problem. Dave you should be drinking about 2 ltrs of water every day anyway, as this is important to hydration and flush out the daily toxins accumilated in the body. The best way to take creatine monohydrate is with a 50:50 mix of Grape Juice and Grapefruit Juice. The Colgan Institute of Sports Medicine have been doing it that way successfully with their athletes for years and obtained great results. You dont really need a load of juice or water to go with it, just as long as you get all the creatine down when u drink it (non left in the bottom of the glass) Yours in Health Monster Supplements

    Hello Jamie I am not sure who said it couldnt, because there is no reason why Creatine shouldnt be mixed in with Whey Shakes. Ideally though, you would take creatine with a 50:50 mix of Grape Juice and Grapefruit Juice, the Grapefruit juice causes the stomach to release enzymes that buffer the stomach acids, creating an ideal enviroment for the Creatine to be absorbed into the bloodstream.     Hi Mike, Thank you for the question. The daily recommended intake varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Clinical studies have been performed with athletes using 20g with no negagative side effects. We have found the best results from 10gr on most people (who are trainin regular) I would only use 5gr if you are concerned though as this will work fine.     Dear Charlie, You need to ensure you are drinking plenty of water when taking creatine because creatine has a habbit of causing bloat and water retention if not.     Hi Ron, Take 5g a day every day. If you want to "load" take a few servings per day, don't get too caught up in the loading phase however, eventually you'll be saturated anyway. No need to cycle, simply 5g a day for as long as you like. Monster
