I am using optimum nutrition whey mix twice a day,how long after taking the whey can i take the creapure i've just bought? Also do you have to take the creatine with 500ml of fluid or can you use less fluid? as the load up week means 2 ltrs of water a day, That seems a bit much to me?

You can take your creatine with your whey, thats not a problem. Dave you should be drinking about 2 ltrs of water every day anyway, as this is important to hydration and flush out the daily toxins accumilated in the body. The best way to take creatine monohydrate is with a 50:50 mix of Grape Juice and Grapefruit Juice. The Colgan Institute of Sports Medicine have been doing it that way successfully with their athletes for years and obtained great results.
You dont really need a load of juice or water to go with it, just as long as you get all the creatine down when u drink it (non left in the bottom of the glass)

I am not sure who said it couldnt, because there is no reason why Creatine shouldnt be mixed in with Whey Shakes.
Ideally though, you would take creatine with a 50:50 mix of Grape Juice and Grapefruit Juice, the Grapefruit juice causes the stomach to release enzymes that buffer the stomach acids, creating an ideal enviroment for the Creatine to be absorbed into the bloodstream. The Colgan institute of sports medicine have done it that way for years on countless professional athletes and obtained fantastic results with simple Creatine Monohydrate.

I have been buying, and using reflex creapure creatine from monster supplements for a few years, and have always mixed it together with whey protein. It states on the label it can be mixed with MRPs. However, I am slightly concerned by the comments from your Andy Robinson stating the creatine shouldn't be mixed with protein. Theres a bit of a contradiction here, can you please clarify?
You can mix it with protein, but its not ideal, should rwally mix with carbohydrates.

Hi in earlier questions asked you have stated that people should take 5 gramms of creatine before the gym, and then another 5 gramms after exercise, meaning a total of 10 gramms a day intake. However on the tub it clearly states that you should take 5 gramms a day, and NOT have more than this. So surely its unsafe to take double the recommended intake of creatine?

Thank you for the question. The daily recommended intake varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Clinical studies have been performed with athletes using 20g with no negagative side effects. We have found the best results from 10gr on most people (who are trainin regular) I would only use 5gr if you are concerned though as this will work fine.

Hi, been useing Reflex Creapure for some time now, i'm not really a believer in 'The Loading Phase' myself
after researching so much creatine info, I have always found that 5g a day works just as good for me from the start, and I get the same results,
as a result my tub lasts a fair bit longer,
I have just taken a month off my creatine, and its time to start taking it again, so I open my reflex creapure after the 4 weeks break to find the powder is now solid like a block of sugar,
its not out of date (has over a year left on it)
and if stirred around and crushed a little it does go back to a powder, it has never done this before nor have I heard of it turning to a block before? is this normal?
has damp somehow got inside the container?, is it still ok to use it once broken back down to powder?

Hi there i am currently using this product & am mixing it with 200ml of grape juice & 200ml of grapefruit juice, then 15-20 mins later i am havin my protein drink 2 scoops of relfex instant mass. I was unsure if i should stil have a powerade to get my simple carbs post work out of do you think the 400ml of juice will have enough simple sugars in to replenish the simple carbs. i am 17 and play rugby and i currently take express whey (boditronics) pre workout and then take boditronics profusion after workout (both are great products), however, i only take profusion on workout days (4-5 days a week) but it has 5g of creatine all ready in it and i am thinking about getting some creapure.
so on the maintance phase shall i take 5g of creapure with my ore workout shake and then none after workout as it already has 5g of creatine in it.

Hi, I have a question about the amount. ON bodybuilding.com there is a creatine amount calculator, and that produces an amount based on your weight. For me this was 30g loading and 15g maint. I tried reflex creapure before with their recomendations and did not notice any effects. Will these new amounts be ok. I am just into my 40s, training regularly apart from weekends. But at what time do you suggest these be had, i.e. if doing 1 hour weight session, normally I have carb/protein meal 2 hours approx before workout, with snack 1 hour before. Once i have completed the stated 8 week usage period, will i keep the increased size gained using this(hopefully)when i revert back to Whey Protein shake only. Would i better to then take a shake that also includes creatine or take the 4 week break. Thanks

Hi guys, great website. Couple of questions….I currently use reflex whey and I am now using this. once I have finished the 8 week cycle should I then use a combined whey/creatine based powder (Reflex one stop/Cyclone) or just use the reflex whey? Will I loose the gain I hope to make is this period? Also, is there a reason you suggest mixing it with grapefruit and grape juice or can any fruit juice be used?
You can and should use protein all year round for extra lean mass then use an all in one around training times, one stop or phd synergy in particular are my favourites

creatine is not unhealthy for someone of your age. protein especially is not. protein is a vital nutrient and if you are trianing you must intake enough protein, whether that be through food or supplementation. -AC-

yes that is the perfect times to take pharma gain. i personally would take it 60 mins before so that it is not heavy on the stomach during training. yes add 5g creapure to each shake before and after trianing. aim for 10g creatine daily. -AC-

it is pointless taking creatine if your protein intake is not high enough. protein and carbohydrates are what induce muscle growth not creatine. creatine allows you to train harder and volumises muscle cells with water but does not directly induce growth. you need the fuel (protein and carbs) to actually grow. aim for 250g protein per day minimum. this is very difficult from food alone so a shake is needed. i recommend either phd pharma whey or optimum nutrition gold standard whey for protein. -AC-
I have started taking Gaspari Size On and i am nearly finished my 1st tub of it, can i add some of this Creapure Creatine to my daily intake to increase my creatine intake. I take size on during training so could i add a scoop of creapure to my post workout shake
you can safely take creapure creatine as well as size on but it is unneccessary as size on contains enough creatine to maximally optimise the benefits of creatine. -AC-

I'm struggling to mix this, it's taking absolutely ages and theres still quite a bit in the bottom. Can I just mix this with less water and down the whole thing partially unmixed? I get around 2 liters of water a day any way.

if you are struggling to mix the creapure then yes you can do that. i recommend trying it in a shaker with some fruit juice. a few hard shakes always did the job for me. -AC-
I want to loose around 8-9kgs of fat, i'm on a high protein diet, i'm doing resistance training but involves high reps around 15-20. I wanted to know, that if i include creapure, will it aide me in fatloss, i don't mind water retention as long as i can shed fat.
creatine does not affect fat loss. it may help you to train at higher intensities but primarily does not affect fat loss. i would recommend a thermogenic fat burner like phd lean degree or nutrex lipo 6X. -AC-

creatine will delay the onset of lactic acid but when doing cardio you use primarily the aerobic energy system so creatine does not play a large part. -AC-

the uptake system is basically just sugars added to the creatine to help deliver it into the muscle faster. take the creapure with phd battery or an isotonic drink to get the same effect. -AC-

Hello. I am just starting the loading phase and was wondering could i mix 4 bottles of 500ml water with 5g of creatine in the morning and drink regualry throughout the day? or do i have to mix them and drink within a certain time? This would save taking the tub everywehere.

I was wondering, after i take the loading phase, 4 servings per day for 5 days , would it be be ok to take 5 grams pre workout and 5 post workout for maintenance or would this be overkill?? I weigh 72kg if thats relavent ?

Hi, been weight training for several months now, im a hardgainer and quite slim frame, ive previously used weight gain and wehey protein, managed to get stronger and slight increase in mass but id like to thicken out and look bulkier, would you recomend creatine? also which would be better, this or PHD micronised creatine?
