Why buy Pro Lab BCAA Plus 180 capsules?
Prolab Nutrition's BCAA PLUS is a high potency formula containing the essentialamino acids L-Leucine, L-Valine and L-Isoleucine. These three protein sparing amino acids are known as branched chain. It is a well known fact that amino acids are responsible for protein synthesis, hence the nickname "building blocks". Recent studies suggest that the BCAA's are the most important of all amino acids for muscular growth and recuperation.
The BCAA's are the most rapidly absorbed of all amino acids; in fact, 70% of BCAA's immediately pass through the liver and are "pushed" into the muscle tissue where the majority of the metabolism takes place. BCAA's are also responsible for muscle production and energy production. Muscleproduction is supplied by an increase in protein synthesis. Energy production is caused when he BCAA's assist in the production of L-Alanine. This is done through a process called transamination, which is the transfer of amino acid groups into other amino acids. L-Alanine, a primary pathway to muscle energy, will cause both increased protein synthesis and increased energy sources.
BCAA's may also be of benefit to you during extreme dieting by lessening the catabolic (breaking dowm) effect of muscle tissue. You can see why BCAA's are so important in your quest for muscle growth and recuperation. Your body can not manufacture it's own BCAA's. They must be supplied through your diet. Do not short change your progress, use Prolab Nutrition's BCAA PLUS.

Ask a Question
If you take BCAA supplementation do you also then need to take regular amino acid supplements or is the high content of BCAA's suficient.
if you are taking BCAA's you should be fine with a good diet and most protein supplements have them. All the best Andy Robinson www.monstersupplements.com

If I am already taking a protein supplement such as Reflex Instant Whey which already contains some BCAA will it be ok to still take Pro Lab, or will I be getting enough from the protein supplement, I am also taking a creatine supplement but this does not contain any BCAAs. The amount of BCAAs in the protein supplement is a lot smaller then the ones in the Pro Lab supplement.
you can take the aminos aswell as a protein supplement as the amino in protein supplements are low. All the best Andy Robinson www.monstersupplements.com

How many servings are there
Hi i would use 6 per seving so this will give you 30 servings, thanks

He there so im started to workout more and starting to see results, i currently just take a pre-workout (superpump) sida cordifolia and a protein. im 83kg with 15% bod fat and looking to cut down. Iv been hearing alot about taking more BCAA's and also L-carnitine to help cut down. what do you think? also what are you thoughts on taking liquid amino's?( was looking for glutamine and was told about the aminos instead... would i be wasting money taking them all? and is it safe? Thanks for you time sam
Hi Sam. BCAA's will help preserve muscle mass when dieting down. They are not a fat loss aide, as such. L-Carnitine is used by some people to help lose body fat because it has been reported that L-Carnitine helps shifft stored fatty acids into the blood stream to be used as energy. If you are after a fat loss aid, go for L-Carnitine. If you are looking to preserve Muslce whilst losing weight, go with BCAA's pre and post workout. Thanks, Omar.
