Recommended Usage of PhD Nutrition Diet Whey 1kg

Use 2-3 servings of Diet Whey daily to help build a lean and toned physique.
For Men: Add 1 or 2 scoops (approximately 25g-50g) of Diet Whey to 350ml of ice cold water and shake for 10 seconds.

For women: Add 1 or 2 scoops (approximately 25g-50g depending upon preference and requirements) of Diet Whey to 175ml (if used 1 scoop) or 350ml (if used 2 scoops) of ice cold water and shake for 10 seconds.

    “ Having recently bought the Belgian chocolate flavour I have been using the protein daily. I have been mixing 1 scoop with approx 250ml of skimmed milk using the free shaker (great smaller size) this has been my breakfast with a banana and has fully filled me up I then have the same for my lunch and then normal dinner. So far I have used this method for the last 5 days and have lost 3lb, my evening meal has been a mixture really but I have had a takeaway during this time also! Due to my work commitments I have been unable to get to the gym during those 5 days and so am looking forward to see what results I get when I combine the protein with exercise too. The pack suggest one serving should be 2 scoops but I thought Id see how I get on with just 1 (yes this is me being tight) and have found it to fill me up enough to last till my next meal time. A friend bought the vanilla flavour at the same time and that is just as nice as the Belgian chocolate, already made a second order of the chocolate orange to vary the meal and look forward to it. No real complaints other than it can be a bit gritty but this isnt really a problem. A tip I havent tried yet is to use warm milk with the chocolate flavour so it tastes like a hot chocolate drink of any evening as it will help stop snacking on other things. Would definitely recommend. ”

People have commented on it having bits, however I don't mind that. I've only used one scoop because the Belgian chocolate is very sweet (but not bad and means I don't miss eating the real thing!) and that fills me up for a couple of hours, more so I'd imagine if I'd used 2 scoops. I'm very happy with this! ”

I have been mixing 2 scoops with 350ml with water used shaker to mixing. Wire ball is magic no lumps at all very smooth with in 30 seconds. I have my half shake before my work out and other half after work out. My metabolisms have increased since Im having this shakes. I feel full after my workouts; wonderful product I recommended to my friends she also said its greatest as well. I've lost 11 lbs and 4 inches in 4 weeks.     “ Was a little skeptical about this when I started it, but without changing my workout regime or the diet I was already on, I've been losing a nice steady extra 2-3lb a week. I use it for a breakfast replacement (I normally work out in the mornings) and I'm never hungry before going to the gym. It tastes ok, better than any other brand, but no brand tastes like Cadbury's chocolate so that's the only place I've dropped stars. It mixes really easily compared with other brands and the free shaker was an added bonus. I'll certainly be ordering more. May try the chocolate orange flavour next time. ”

    “ I've used a few other whey proteins over the years always disappointed at lack of results. They've never added anything to results of a tough workout. I've used phd diet whey (belgian choc) for 1 month and it's certainly doing the job. Friends have commented on the noticeably lean 'ripped' change in my physique. my training is nothing crazy. Just 4 one hour P90X sessions per week with 2 five mile jogging sessions. it tastes great. no 'lumpy/grainy', just tastes like a malt shake. ordered 2 more batches. extremely happy with product. It does seem to have provided me with the extra edge in my results. gave a 4 stars for 'value' as i really think all whey proteins are overpriced by about 20%. ”

    “ This is a very good supplement and does over time help tone up the body and reduce body fat provided that you stick to a suitable exercise and dieting regime. I definitely wouldn't say that is totally the best but still does do a very good job and compared to products such as grenade it doesn't leave you out of breath, faint or with a bad headache. I would recommend chocolate orange as its the best tasting, if you are going to mix it with weetabix as a breakfast replacement then use a blended as the mixer doesn't break down the weetabix well enough. I would definitely reccoment that you use it with PHD lean degree for it to take more of a desired effect. God bless. ”

Combined with my workout regime i've seen massive improvements in strength and lean muscle growth as well as a noticeable ripping-up of a number of areas, particularly the abs. Not very impressed with the belgian choc, but no serious complaints. P.s makes awesome instant-brownies: 3 scoops diet whey, add water until you have a really thick paste, microwave for 2-3 minutes, voila. ”

    “ 5 stars again PhD. Fast becoming one of my favourite brands having been an Optimum Nutrition user for years. I tried diet whey because I'm on a cut but still need my post workout shake. This contains CLA and choline and I believe green tea extract so it aids my cutting cycle. The taste is also amazing. Have the strawberry flavour which I mix with water, almond milk, in a smoothie or with some Quark cheese. It's very versatile and mixes well with all things although it is slightly grainy but that may be the micellar casien. Very good product and great value. ”

    “ New to these products, was recommended by my PT and have only been using for a month so I can't really comment on lean muscle effect yet. Only tried the belgian chocolate - the taste & texture are fine, tastes to me just like a thin chocolate milkshake. I received the shaker with the blue lid, which is tricky to shut properly & I've had a couple of times where I've ended up with shake all over me & the room! Also there tends to be an area in the cup where the powder won't mix with the water which can be annoying. But these are small quibbles, the product tastes great & I will carry on using it. ”

My son (26) uses this product (2 scoops at a time) but he runs marathons etc. Husband 60, me 54 - we have a ONE scoop milkshake each at lunchtime or breakfast time as a meal replacement. We do NOT work out, but cycle, walk and sail a dinghy. We have both lost weight and toned up muscle and we have only been using this product for about 3 weeks. A one scoop milkshake each fills us up well and we do not feel hungry after. Sometimes at lunch we have a banana or apple after the milkshake. We have bought strawberry, chocolate and vanilla flavours and the taste is perfect - good flavour and not over sweet. My husband is diabetic, type 2, and he is enjoying having the flavours without any added sugar. His rule of thumb is 5% sugar or less is permitted and so in such a small volume, one scoop, there is hardly any. We enjoy this product. ”

    “ I really like the diet whey products, I have tried the chocolate orange, strawberry, vanilla and chocolate so far and they are all really nice! The vanilla works really well with coffee type smoothies and on its own is quite sweet and great just for a sweet treat. The strawberry is quite mildly flavoured but still really tasty. My favourite is the Belgian chocolate it tastes really smooth and very like a sweet that I just can't put my finger on! All of these mix quite well however I always mix with slightly more than the recommendation as it is very thick if only using 175ml for 1 scoop so I tend to go for 210ml (approx) to get a nicer consistency but then again that is probably personal preference!! Overall great tasting, low calorie, high protein, low carb.... what more can a girl want? ”

There is no question that diet whey will be more efficeient for burning bodyfat than instant whey. Instant whey is a whey concentrate also, not a whey isolate (slightly slower acting).     Hello James, Yes this would be ideal for breakfast and a meal replacement during the day. Grenade would also be fine to use alongside this. However for post-workout I would opt for a pure whey product and add some carbs yourself as the carb content in these may be a little high if you are trying to drop body fat fast.     Hi Steve, firstly congratulations on your progression. You do seem to train alot therefore you could try the PhD Nutrition Recovery 2:1.. This will provide you with a blend of slow and fast releasing carbohydrates to allow recovery as well as providing BCAA's, Creatine and Glutamine.     Hi ANDY No worries about the huge question Losing fat and gaining muscle for most mere mortals is impossible or very hard, there are the lucky few, probablylike yourself that can do this I would reccomnd that if fat loss is stalled then to add in a fat burner like PhD lean degree, keeping the synergy iso -7 is a good idea aswell as this is an all in one that can be used for both muscle gain and fat loss i would simply change the type of cardio you are doing, e.g instead of sscv start on HIIT or vice versae Taking lean degree 3 times a day and then synergy iso-7 once pre workout and once immediately post workout is what i would reccomend Regards Rich

    Hi Nas. You're probably finding it hard to lose weight as your metabolism will be extremely slow, if you are eating 1200 cals per day AND working out...your metabolism will have no choice but to slow down to an extremely low level. To lose fat you'll have to eat more and then work down later on, at the moment I would say that's unheathly....effectively your body will have around 800 cals to live off, providing you have an intense workout(400 cals). I'd get a good eating plan together and go from there. Regards LT

    Hi Gabriella. 2-3 shakes a day is plenty, you need to make sure you are in a calorie deficit to lose weight, just make sure you aren't eating too little as many people tend to eat very small amounts of food and their metabolism essentially shuts down. The best way to use it is as a meal replacement, personally I like to have a whole food meal, then a meal replacement....whole food...meal replacement. Regards Luke
