“ Handy as i have a hefty work scedual and this has enough calories and good nurition to suffice as a decent meal replacment. Tastes a bit dodgy but better than a soggy chicken sandwitch which i hardly have time to make. Great except VERY EXPENSIVE!!!! ”

“ Perfect! As a Uni Student i am always having fastfood or premade sandwhiches during lunch. These are much healthier and in the long run cheaper. Taste great as well! ”

“ Excellent flapjacks with a good nutritional profile. As with most Maximuscle products they are overly expensive but you do pay for quality - for example, PhD flapjacks are cheaper, but also contain more than triple the amount of sugar! (13g vs 4g!) ”

“ An honest first impression: I oredered these in bulk for a great offer from mostersupplements and have been eating them for a few days now- I took a gamble by ordering a lot and knew that even If they tasted gross I'd eat them. For me, with a protein bar the taste is a bonus- if you're changing your diet according to a training routine you'll have to sacrifice some of the pleasures in life! So as for my rating- effectiveness I can't really comment on as i've only just started eating them, however they do make you feel full- but not too full/bloated, so as a pre or post training snack they do their job. For value I paid around 95p a bar with a promo code and bulk order, or else I wouldn't have ordered them ;) They're slightly dry but it's oat based so you'd expect this, I've eaten grainy bars and that just isn't the case here. The taste is ok, I got the mixed berry flavour and you can taste the sour berries in the bar alongside a layer of white chocolate on the base so these are easy to eat and it really isn't like chewing cardboard. The after taste isn't great- a bit like the taste after a glass of milk, but that's no problem. Yes gram for gram a protein shake is cheaper, but I don't want a belly full of fluids all the time and this helps with snack cravings so I felt justified in the transition. Hope this helps, if you can get them cheap it's worth it- whether or not I'll have that opinion once I've eaten a few dozen remains to be seen haha. ”

“ They do what they say high protein, help recovery, good amount of calories but they taste disgusting! And their so dry making them hard to eat. But again easy to use just take in your lunch or where ever your off to and unwrap instead of carrying a shaker and having to mix etc ”

“ These bars are tasty and well made. In the (90G) bars almost 25% is protein so nice after a workout. They are just over 300 calories, which is fine, and the saturated fats make up less than 1/2 of all the fats within it. Overall a great tasting bar and I really look forward to eating one. ”
