The purpose of this supplement is to aid your protein intake; if your protein intake is good at breakfast then additional supplementation will not be necessary. The best advise i could give you Mike would be to organise your normal day to day diet primarily. You need to ensure you can eat as much as you can through normal foods that will give you useful calories such as oats and complex carbohydrates. The shake that you shall take is only a supplement. Hi Dave, I dont know what your routine is but making sure you have sufficient rest when gaining muscle size is vital. Firstly I would follow the following regeime to ensure you have adequate rest between training muscle groups- Monday- Chest, Tuesday- Back, Wednesday, Legs (upper body rest), Thursday- Shoulders, Friday- Arms, Weekend OFF Dont forget Dave that protein shakes are only supplements, and they are only there to supplement the correct diet. Ensure you cut out fats that are un useful such as chocolate etc and eat your carbohydrate foods in correct proportions. Excess carbohydrates will be converted into fats. And maintain your high protein intake. Try to eat or take a supplement every 2-3 hours to spread out your calorific intake and keep your body in an anti-catabolic state whilst keeping your metabolism high. I hope this has helped Dave.
