“ If you are on a budget this is an good product to use. It is effective for lean gains. Its taste is not brilliant and my preference is the vanilla for a more neutral taste. If you mix it with milk, it makes it more creamy and slightly more tolerable ”

Offered a replacement swap by Monster which was nice but had already dumped the drum on a mate at the gym. £45.00 down but have learned a valuable lesson ' Don't always presume that it does exactly what it says on the tin!' or in this case 'is' exactly what it says on the drum!!!! ”

“ You get a lot for your money! Many complain about the taste however in terms of flavour, I think its one of the better chocolate shakes out there. Its the powdery texture which spoils the taste if anything but if you can deal with this then you wont find much better out there in terms of quality protein/kg. It mixes easily with a shaker and the residue rinses from the bottle without the need for scrubbing. ”

“ On my second tub of this and no complaints firstly the taste seems to be an issue for people, i used another supplement distributor prior to these guys and YES it tasted like DEATH delivery by courier was poor and price was higher, then i discovered MONSTER, purchased for £5 cheaper than previous, selected free delivery option and it arrived in two days was asked to sign for it unlike the other courier who left it on my drive and the taste was MASSIVELY different so much so that i really enjoy the taste. Lets be honest there are a number of better tasting products on the market but for the price and protein content delivered this is one of the most impressive products available. Im using it 3 times a day not only to lose body fat as part of a blanced diet but also to build muscle and yes after 3 months using this product the results are DAMN GOOD. In a nutshell this is a budget friendly product that delivers results and i will continue using MONSTER and this product until i reach a bodyfat % which will warrant the use of the higher priced whey protein isolates. “ This stuff really is the Marmite of the protein world - you either love it or hate it - but the one thing you cannot dispute is results. I'm now on my 4th tub of this and the one thing I cannot argue with is that I have had the most real world gains muscle wise whilst on this with no other major change in diet or exercise regime - this is what sold me finally on this product. And for me personally soreness and recovery times have dropped significantly! Now - the taste issue. I have had chocolate, strawberry and vanilla and can honestly say I like the taste of them all. When you initially try it it can be a tad sweet and very gritty. The grittiness is down to the pea fibre used. You quickly get used to that and the fibre is good for you anyway! After a while the taste will become a non issue and you may - like me - grow to like it - so much so that now when I try other more expensive tastier brands they all seem a tad bland and cause much more phlegm build up at the back of the throat than this stuff; which goes down very smoothly IMHO. I have had major intestinal cramps and stinky farts with other more expensive brands but can honestly say NOT with this protein. Don't forget you're getting a high quality whey isolate here and one of the cheapest prices anywhere and a good quality milk casein as well. This makes it a good bet for cooking too - the whey protein may indeed get destroyed from heating but the casein will def survive and stay very much useable! This protein also makes excellent protein bars! Other brands which are geared more towards mixability tend to make bars which end up a sticky gooey mess that very hard to eat and swallow - whereas this protein makes a nice firm moist chewable bar full of protein! for the price it cannot be beaten - and you get noticeable results too - I will continue to buy this as my staple protein supplement from now on... Tried lots of other stuff for over 2 years and have finally settled on this. As for the taste - again get used to it - or man up and just drink it - if you want a milkshake go to macdonalds! Oh and use a blender if you get clumps - I always use hand blenders anyway even with the easy mix brands - just get better mixes that way! ”

“ HONEST REVIEW - First things first, the Chocolate flavour tastes fantastic. Honestly, I have tried so many powders over the years and this is the best tasting one so far. Can't speak for other flavours though. As for the quality, plenty of good stuff in there. What makes it even better is the price - it's a steal. This is why I re-ordered it as I am a student. It mixes fine, sometimes little bits of chocolate get stuck at the bottom if your shaker is wet inside before hand but it's not that big a deal. I would rate this product 4/5 stars. “ Overall having used this Product two times per day (53Grams, which is two scoops) have found I have seen better recovery after a brutal workout particularly on my legs. I bought the Chocolate Flavour and it is best used with Water as mixing it I find a residue at the bottom of my shaker. It tastes pretty good, and as a Casein mixed product I use at bedtime and first thing in the morning or if am training as a Post Workout only. The blend of Casein and Whey is highly concentrated and easily absorbed. I would not hesitate in taking up another Tub once I have worked my way through this bumper 5KG One! The Flavour with very little water mixed on top of Porridge or other cereal tastes as delicious as Chocolate Fudge Brownie, only better nutritional value! Have to suggest as I am looking to lose Body Fat and add Muscle I have only tried with Water to this Point, In case of bulking I would reckon a low fat Milk would be more beneficial but how it would mix would be better to check the reviews that have added milk. Buy it, you won't regret it! ”
