Endurance
Muscular endurance is the ability of a muscle or group of muscles to sustain repeated contractions against a resistance for an extended period of time. A muscular endurance routine is often based in the 12plus rep range and will typically use slow twitch muscle fibres.
The primary fuel source will be oxygen and carbs as it is an aerobic activity, so making sure you are getting enough oxygen and blood to your muscles is key.
The ideal supplements to take here are ones to help with your recovery after a long endurance activity of which I recommend PhD Recovery 2: 1 which contains extremely fast acting whey isolate, a perfect ratio of fast and slow acting carbs, BCAA's, creatine and glutamine. All of these ingredients have been shown to increase speed of recovery and increase the rate of muscle growth when taken post workout.
Also a supplement to provide enough energy for you activity such as PhD Battery which will provide you with the energy you need, it is a Triple-action carbohydrate blend with added BCAA’s and electrolytes Finally a supplement to help increase oxygen utilization, recovery and enhance endurance all of which Millennium Sport Technologies Cordygen 5 does perfectly, it also has many other beneficial properties.
