Emily Holland: Top 5 Nutritional Bars

So I am going to go into my top five favourite nutritional bars. Not only are they packed with goodness and protein they are also good nutrition on the go. Here is my run down of the top 5:

  1. Protein Dynamix Dynabar

These just taste great! I have to say out of all the bars I do enjoy these the most. For my off-season they are great and to be honest I am never without a box. I would have ranked them a lot higher however I am currently on prep for my next competition so the carbs are a little high at this point. Looking forward to the rest of the year however when I can stock up!

  1. Reflex Nutrition R-bars

So these bars are my second favourite nutrition bars available. They taste superb and have a beautiful creamy texture. My favourite flavour is cherry bakewell. These have a high protein content and are packed full of good fats as they are made with nut butters. They taste sweet but they have a very low sugar content, which is great for a healthy diet.

So now to my ultimate favourite nutrition bars. The best tasting by far in my opinion, with a wide range of flavours to choose from and their nutritional content fits nicely with my macros. They have a great protein content and, for how good they taste, I can’t get over how low they are in sugar! My favourite flavour is chocolate chip cookie dough.

The great thing about all these bars is they can be used at any time of the day. My personal favourite times to have them are mid-morning with a black coffee to fend off sweet cravings and get my protein content in or straight after the gym for convenience and a little treat to look forward to after my workout.
