Following a pretty amazing year, I am honoured to be able to represent Monster Supplements as their newest sponsored athlete.
I’d like to take this opportunity to give you a little information about my history within the industry, and competing up to an amateur international level with the IFBB.
I first joined a gym only four years ago. As I’d always been a runner, I had very little muscle, and wanted to put some size on my skinny legs. I was interested in competing, but had a lot of work to do, and wasn’t really ready for my first competition after only six months of training. I competed at the first ever UKBFF Nationals in 2013, and finished third out of six competitors and absolutely loved the whole experience.
I have competed a total of 13 times, and qualified for the British Championships all three years of my competitive career. This year has been the pinnacle so far, as I won the ZKK Classic in June and followed up with a close second place at the English Grand Prix a week later. This qualified me to compete abroad for the first time at the Arnold Classic, in Madrid, and at the first-ever UK international show, the Olympia, in Liverpool, where over 40 countries competed. I finished 12th in the world.
My next show will be in April 2016 where I have been invited to compete in the international IFBB event being held in Malta. Following that, I have benchmarked the English Grand Prix for the third year running, and my qualifier for next year’s British Championships will most likely be the ZKK Classic again, to defend my crown.
