Halloween Protein Shake Recipe: Pumpkin Power

 

No tricks this Halloween … simply treat yourself with this protein-packed pumpkin shake!

Pumpkin is:

  • Packed with vitamin A, which is great for your eyesight
  • A great source of fibre and is full of potassium, which is good for refuelling
  • Is calorie dense, so will leave you fuller for longer

 

Ingredients

150g pumpkin, blended into a puree

1 banana, frozen

120g natural yoghurt

1 scoop PhD Nutrition Diet Whey in Vanilla

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp agave nectar

100ml milk

Handful of ice

 

Method

- Put all ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth – simple!
