Turkey Burgers with Sweet Potato Chips and Guacamole
Looking for a great tasteing and filling evening meal? then your going to want to try out these Turkey Burgers with Sweet Potato Chips and Guacamole. Lets start off with the Sweet Potato Chips.
Sweet Potato Chips
- 4 sweet potatoes, washed and cut into large chips
- 2 tbsps Dr Zaks Coconut Oil
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
Put the chips in a large bowl and toss with the Soy Sauce and melted Coconut Oil.
Place in a baking tray in a pre-heated oven and bake for 40 minutes.
Nutritionals (Per Portion)
- 2 tbsp Dr Zaks Coconut Oil
- 1 finely chopped large onion
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 450g turkey mince
- 1 grated large carrot
- 1 beaten egg
Fry the chopped onion and crushed garlic until soft and then set aside and leave to cool.
When cooled, add to the rest of the ingredients and mix well in a bowl.
Shape into burgers and then sear both sides until coloured. Transfer to a baking tray and cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
Nutritionals (Per Burger)
- 3 avocados
- 1 diced large tomato
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 finely chopped red onion
- 1 finely chopped red chilli
- Handful of coriander
Add the chopped avocados, chopped tomato, lime juice, chopped red onion, finely chopped red chilli and coriander to a bowl, using a whisk roughly blend all ingredients.
