For those that don't know who I am, in a nut shell...ex swimmer turned MMA fighter turned Endurance Lifter turned Strongman and CrossFit enthusiast. Throw me a challenge, and I'll dive straight into it!
Most of my training is high volume, with frequent AM/PM splits. Besides consuming a lot of food to fuel and recover from my sessions, the majority of the time I also like an extra boost.
This extra boost comes in the form of .50 Calibre Pre Workout.
What is .50 Cal?
.50 Cal contains over 20 University tested ingredients - compiled together very nicely to deliver a hard hitting explosive punch that will take your workouts to the next level!
When do I use it?
Be it first thing in the morning, or late afternoon, a heavy weights session or a lighter an/aerobic conditioning workout, .50 Cal always enables me to push it that little bit further.
What are the benefits?
Another one of the many perks with .50 Cal, is that there is no crash that is usually associated with taking pre workouts. The tail-off effect of the caffeine is gradual and a few hours after the workout you'll be feeling fine. Unless, that is, you completely annihilate the session and push yourself so far past your comfort zone that you collapse with exhaustion, which, due to the effectiveness of the product, is quite likely. Don't say I didn't warn you!
Do you mix the product with any other ingredients?
A personal preference of mine is the Lemon Raid flavour on its own, taken 30 minutes before a workout. You could even take things up a notch by mixing it together with Defend (either Atomic Apple or Orange Onslaught - Grenade's full spectrum amino acid product) for a refreshing drink that will truly take your workout to the next level!
