Grenade Ration Pack Overview by Richard Elston!

Introduction

Hey guys and girls, Richard Elston here, Team Grenade sponsored Athlete and welcome to my non-biased take on the Grenade Ration Pack and why I feel it is vital to include in your daily nutritional arsenal. I will be giving you a quick insight as to why I feel we could all benefit from this particular product and also a little insight as to what my current plan of action is regarding my own training and nutrition.

So without further ado, let get into it.

I have been a sponsored Grenade Athlete since the beginning and it has been fantastic being part of a company that has grown in such a way no other company in sports nutrition can compare in terms of rapid growth across the world. Grenade has supported me throughout the years helping me progress to stepping on stage for the very first time back in 2013.  I was fortunate to win and gain the title of the first ever Mens Physique Midlands Champion and after a successful year competing I decided to take 2014 off in order to make some physique adjustments in order to challenge for the number 1 spot to become the Ukbff British Champion which will be October 2015.

So as of right now I’m still well into my off season diet of lots of food and heavy ass lifting.

What Is The Ration Pack?

Grenade Ration Pack is my product of choice, here I will explain the benefits of using this 4 in 1 product.

So, before we break it down lets give you a quick overview as to what Grenade Ration Pack is:

1.    4 products in one

2.    A Multivitamin & Mineral complex

3.    A Fatty Acid

4.    An Antioxidant

5.    A Probiotic

So now that we know what Grenade Ration Pack is and what products in contains lets break it down into the importance of each individual unit.

Multivitamins & Minerals – Don’t like your fruit and veggies? Well guess what? There is a very good chance you are deficient in vital vitamins that can have severe consequences on your health. When you consume a different variety of fruits, vegetables, grains, lean meats & fish then you consume a wide range of all the necessary vitamins needed for the body to continue functioning properly without complications. Most diets these days (even so called healthy diets) lack essential vitamins and minerals and this is where supplementation of a multivitamin can safe guard you from unwanted health problems due to vitamin deficiency.

Fatty Acids – Most people’s diets these days lack a decent amount fatty fish that contains vital Omega 3 fatty acids which are made up of DHA & EPA. Fish oil, obtained either through natural sources of fatty fish or through supplements, have amazing health benefits. Although the body requires omega-3 fatty acids to function, it cannot produce them.

Fish oils have some evidence to show that they increase lean (muscle) mass and decrease fat mass. They also decrease inflammation, which is probably the main factor that leads to decreased risk of heart, vascular disease and possibly cancer. The anti-inflammatory effect also helps with sore joints, arthritis, and recovery from exercise or injury. If that weren't enough fish oil can improve mental function and development, mood and support better eye health. Recommended doses of fish oil is between 2,000-6,000mg per day.

Antioxidants – Do your immune system a favour, and pack some more fruits and vegetables on your plate or if that isn’t your thing then simply rip off a strip of Grenade Ration Pack and you are good to go. Ration Pack, fruit & veggies are loaded with nutrients, called antioxidants, which are good for you.
The three major antioxidant vitamins are beta-carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E. You’ll find them in colourful fruits and vegetables but with that said, Ration Pack packs over 20 different antioxidants to keep your body fighting free radicles that are on a mission to break down your body’s defenses and weaken your immune system.

Probiotics - The digestive system is home to more than 500 different types of bacteria. They help keep the intestines healthy and assist in digesting food. They are also believed to help the immune system. Researchers believe that some digestive disorders happen when the balance of friendly bacteria in the intestines becomes disturbed.  This can happen after an infection or after taking antibiotics. Intestinal problems can also arise when the lining of the intestines is damaged. Taking probiotics may help.

Research suggests Probiotics can improve intestinal function and maintain the integrity of the lining of the intestines. As fitness enthusiast’s making sure our food intake goes in and out without any trouble is vital to our continues progressions.
