Recipe Of The Week

My protein loaf provides a nice and easy recipe for a low carb, high protein snack.  You can use any flavor protein powder depending on your taste but I have gone for cookies and cream whey.  It tastes good, trust me!

Ingredients (Provides 8 mini loafs)

2 scoops whey protein powder

200g ground almonds

10-15g pecans – Broken into smaller pieces

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Pinch of Himalayan salt

80ml water

4 eggs or 5 egg whites if you want to reduce the fat content

10g organic butter

10g

100% cocoa nibs

Step 1: Pre heat oven to Gas Mark 5

Step 2: Mix all of the dry ingredients together thoroughly

Step 3: Add the eggs & water then mix thoroughly to ensure the correct consistency

Step 4: Half fill mini loaf cases with mixture.

Step 5: Place onto the middle shelf of the oven for 20-25 minutes

Step 6: Allow to cool then enjoy!!
