It is that time of the year again, can you believe it? I am of course refering to starting my own transformation, it only felt like yesterday when I finished my last one. This means that my creative side needs to be firing on all cylinders to help me get past cravings which will inevitably show up at some point. Every day on my transformation I will be eating lean beef, generally in the form of mince beef. For those of you who read the news headlines last week about the health risks of eating red meat frequently, fear not - we are talking lean healthy meat, not bacon and sausages. With that said I wanted to share with you a yummy beef burger recipe today!
150g extra lean mince beef
1/2 grated carrot
1/2 chopped red onion
1/2 chopped red pepper
Mix in a bowl with your hands and shape into burgers and then dip the burger in wholemeal flour.
Cook until nicely browned using extra virgin olive oil. ENJOY!
