Last week we looked at a mouth watering breakfast recipe and I really hope you guys enjoyed it! Over the past week I certainly have! That is one thing you can count on, I will never advocate a recipe which I don't use because I HAVE to know it will work for you. Today we are going to move on a few hours into the day and discuss an ideal recipe for your mid-morning meal, or 'brunch' as some call it!
I don't know about you but I like to keep things relatively simple. This way you never put yourself under too much stress to prepare a certain meal or snack. This is why I absolutely love toasties, they are so quick and easy and they can also be very nutritious! Here goes!
2 slices brown toast
1 chopped cooked chicken breast
Grated low fat cheddar cheese
1 sliced tomato
1/2 finely sliced red onion
1 sachet of red sauce or BBQ sauce
How easy is that? With the lovely melted cheese oozing through the middle of this toastie, combined with the tomato and onion this snack is very juicy! There is nothing worse than a bone dry meal! Enjoy this muscle building, fat burning snack until next week!
