Oaty-Licious!

In the last week I have made it well known about the new diet I will be following in my quest to grow like a starved T-Rex in a meat warehouse on steroids! Carbohydrates are the biggest difference because I never dip below 1.5g of protein per pound of body weight, but my carbs did during my transformation. However, now showing off my abs to the world isn’t top priority at this moment in time, I can afford to eat A LOT of carbs! One of the main sources of complex carbohydrates I will be using are oats, they are very convenient, cheap and taste great! This got me thinking, I wanted to share with you my 3 top oat recipes!

Each meal takes no more than 5 minutes to prepare making them ideal if you are pushed on time, I used to get one of these meals down in my 10 minute work break back in the day! Back then I had precisely 3 minutes to prepare and 7 minutes to shovel it down!

Chocolate Fruit Oat Mix

This is my favourite, it tastes amazing yet it gives me over 50g of protein and about 80g of carbohydrates! The perfect muscle mass promoting meal wouldn’t you agree?

50g oats

½ sliced banana

50g blueberries & strawberries

Handful of raisins

Handful of almonds

2 scoops of Chocolate Gaspari Myofusion

This just tastes awesome, I could eat this all day and I am a bit of a fussy eater! Not only is this a good breakfast, this is good anytime of the day if you are looking to pack on muscle mass!

Butterscotch Fruit Delight

This just tastes like a dessert to me; in fact, my mouth began to water as I recalled the ingredients to this recipe. This has almost the same nutritional profile as recipe one with a totally different flavour.

50g oats

½ apple thinly sliced, skinned

50g blueberries

Handful of cashew nuts

2 tea spoons of manuka honey

2 scoops of Vanilla Gaspari Myofusion

As stated above this bowl of muscle goodness just tastes sublime! With the combination of nuts, manuka honey, oats and fruit you are also getting a lot of healthy minerals and vitamins which is key in my opinion.  2 teaspoons of manuka honey

This isn’t something I eat all the time but when I fancy a change I throw these two beauties together and enjoy something a little different! Occasionally I will also add crunchy peanut butter if I need to beef up the calories which also a nice dimension to the dish.
