The first third of my twelve week transformation has really flown by! Already I have gone through the first 4 weeks of Y3T training and my diet . . . . Just about!!! There have been many painful workouts, many painful early mornings and many forced meals to get me to where I am already. So what is progress?
As you guys know when I stepped on the scales 4 weeks ago I weighed in at 14 and a half stone, or 203lbs. Whilst weight isn’t necessarily important I do like to keep an eye on it to ensure it is coming down. Initially, my weight wasn’t really budging on the scales because I was also stimulating muscle growth at the same time, but the last 2 weeks I have kept it steady and come down 7lbs! In the mornings I weigh pretty much smack on 14 stone. So what is the target weight? This is very hard to determine because as I progress further, Neil Hill (my nutritionist) will make alterations as he sees fit. From where I am sitting now, a shade under 13 stone would be about right. At this weight we feel I will really present a ripped physique, or what you may call a ‘beach body!’ This is my goal, and so far I am on track!
In week 1 I told you what I was eating, but there have been a few alterations. Make sure to watch week 4, day 7 on my video series to hear about what we have done with my food. At this point in time there are no cheat meals for me, although I know if I am good boy I may get a treat or two soon. . . . . . I bloody hope!!!!
Again, in week 1 I showed you my supplement arsenal which I am using to really get into the shape of my life. Probably like a lot of you, I am sometimes sceptical as to whether certain supplements really do make that much difference. Today, I am not anymore because the increase in strength from the MST Cre-O2 and PhD V-Max Pump is just staggering. Strength levels are up at least 25%, that isn’t just a small boost! My body fat levels have definitely coming down as well thanks to the Reflex L-Carnitine, USN CLA Thermo and Anabolic Designs Shredabull! Normally when I diet I notice my skin can look unhealthy and I look drained, but the USN Multiplex Sport vitamin formula has really kept my immune function high, as has my great diet from Neil! The one change I have made with my supplementation plan since week 1 is I have now introduced a Gaspari Myofusion shake about 1 hour before the gym and Gaspari Intrapro before cardio in the morning and sometimes before bed with my Myofusion. This is to ensure that my muscle cells have adequate levels of amino acids to promote quicker recovery and to increase my overall rate of protein synthesis.
Overall I have to say I feel on top of the world guys! Never have I felt so healthy, strong, mentally strong and confident! You could say I am living the dream, going through a transformation with all of the Team Monster readers behind me!
OK, I have to go and eat; I will see you on my next video so until next time keep up your hard work in the gym, stick to your diet and definitely try these supplements guys! From the updated photos I hope you guys can see a loss in body fat on me, but remember this is a marathon, not a sprint and I have a LONG way to go!
