Balsamic vinegar tastes absolutely fantastic because it can add a very sweet and tangy flavour to a meal. I find that it adds a great depth of flavour to chicken breast in a pan. As the chicken nears the point where it is cooked, sprinkle some balsamic vinegar into the pan and let it soak into the chicken! You will find it takes quite a bland tasting piece of chicken and adds a really nice edge to it!
Red and Green Pepper
Chopping up ½ of each pepper and adding them on the grill or in the pan makes the world of difference to the taste of a meal. The red pepper gives a very sweet taste which can be very satisfying when you are dieting, whilst the green pepper has a nice refreshing taste to it! It takes a matter of seconds to chop these peppers up and just let them cook with your meat in the pan!
Almond Butter Dip!
Satay chicken is one of the nicest meals you can eat, it is oozing with sweetness and it also has such a tender texture to it! Unfortunately conventional Satay chicken isn’t really very healthy! However, if you take 1 tablespoon of almond butter or crunchy peanut butter and add balsamic vinegar and chopped red onion you have yourself a wonderful dip!
Pineapple and Tomatoes!
Adding pineapple chunks to the grill or pan, along with sliced tomatoes is easy as a 1, 2, and 3! When cooked these two fruits taste absolutely wodnderful, and they also have several major health benefits! Pineapple contains a digestive enzyme which promotes the digestion of protein, whilst the tomatoes are loaded with antioxidants particularly of benefit to the health of men’s prostate gland! How long does it take to slice a tomato and open a tin of pineapple chunks?
