As you get more familiar with FitMag, you notice a theme developing which insists you eat a good quality breakfast! However, the way the world is today people just don’t have the time and they often prioritise things like work over their health and nutrition. Instead of preaching to you why you should get up half an hour earlier, I am going to show you 3 fast breakfast recipes which take no more than 5 minutes to prepare and cook! Oh, they taste pretty damn good too!
Breakfast 1 –
60g of oats
2 scoops of chocolate protein powder
25g chopped almonds
½ chopped banana
Cover in water, microwave for 3 minutes and stir!
That is such a simple breakfast but it tastes absolutely amazing. What’s more is that you are getting a great source of carbohydrates, proteins and fats and it takes so little of your time to prepare!
Breakfast 2 –
2 whole eggs, 4 egg whites scrambled
100g pineapple chunks
1 sliced tomato
2 slices of brown toast
This is another delicious recipe which is very quick to make! Here you are getting plenty of high quality, proteins, fats and carbohydrates in abundance of sweet and sharp flavours!
Breakfast 3 –
2 scoops of vanilla protein
½ glass of water
½ glass of skimmed milk
3 egg whites
Mix all of these ingredients up in a blender until they make a smooth and consistent batter. Then pour them in ‘scotch’ pancake size portions on to a piping hot frying pan, covered in 1 cal extra virgin olive oil spray. Once you have finished making the pancakes, serve them in a stack with 50g of blueberries, 50g raspberries and sugar free syrup! This is such a tasty breakfast you question whether it really is healthy! It is!

If you cannot spare 5 minutes in the morning to prepare your breakfast and another 5 to eat it, I better not catch you watching Corrie in the evening! If I do, this tells me you prioritise that TV junk over eating a good breakfast!
