Oh no I hear you say ‘not another Welcome to my blog, look at me stunt!’ Well it’s not all about me and one sided, that’s the last thing you need! I want to involve you as I firmly believe the best results and communication is archived when both parties share information.
O.k I will keep this brief as I think you should know why i’m writing this
I started my sporting career as an overweight teenager at the tender age of just 14. Seeing Arnold in the Argos catalogue advertising the bulworker appealed to me and watching Pumping Iron made up my mind I want to become Mr Universe.
Following the training routines of Rich Gaspari and Nutritional advice found in Flex helped so much as the Internet wasn’t born back then.
Over the next six years living like a Monk and training 5 days per week led to a Natural U18 Regional 1st place title and a positive dream of the Mr Britain title. I set my goals and ticked off the progress on my charts.
At the time I was recruited by a Global Pharmaceutical company as a Laboratory Technician who sponsored my Chemistry qualifications (as I presumed I would learn more about food and nutrition which would be a huge aid later on)
1994 was the year I won the junior Mr Britain and Junior Mr Universe. Winning these titles meant I had completed my physique goals and moved onto opening a Gymnasium in 1996 to help local talent achieve success on the stage. Training athletes was my new found passion (and still is) I have helped dozens of young aspiring hopefuls achieve thir dream including Andrew Robinson who achieved the Title of Natural Mr Britain. Personal training and working as a nutritionist (Gained RSH in Nutrition 2001) was probably the most satisfying job I had ever had and again still enjoy seeing results from those who commit to hard work and routine.
In this blog, we’ll be covering the news on destroying fat, adding lean muscle and metabolism, I’ll be putting in my thoughts on each topic in, but I’d like to hear back from you.
I get asked this question most weeks: Why are sports supplements so important? Sports supplements assist in filling in the nutritional gaps that our food are missing. Nutrients that are lacking in today’s “fast food convenience” Nation.
Together, we can share useful information and get motivated to build a leaner, healthier body. Sound good?
